I have a pet bearded dragon that was being treated poorly in an animal shelther She doesnt bite though, and I took good care of her and she became healthy. Leaving that poor beardy in the animal shelther just would have made her more sick as they did not treat her well why?!?! you think it is safer for kiddies to be around several big dogs?? if they dont know how to treat the dogs , they could easily chew their face of..... so snakes (non venomous) and reptiles are not a big deal if you know how to treat them and the dad is always watching as well.
